This tutorial will use the model created in the Truss Tower Model tutorial. If this tutorial has not been completed, an archive of the model, Tower.ach, is available in the Tutorials\Models subdirectory of the ALGOR installation directory.
The vertical and horizontal trusses (Part 1) have a cross-sectional area of 2.79 in2.
The cross member trusses (Part 2) have a cross-sectional area of 1.67 in2.
All of the trusses have a mass density of 7.3395e-4 lbf s2/in4 and a modulus of elasticity of 30e6 psi.
The bottom of the based is fixed.
