This tutorial will use the model created in the Bolted Flange CAD Model tutorial. If this tutorial has not been completed, an archive of the model, Bolted Flange.ach, is available in the Tutorials\Models subdirectory of the ALGOR installation directory.
The pressure vessel parts and the bolt are made of Steel (ASTM-A36)
Symmetry boundary conditions will be applied along the symmetry planes.
An internal pressure of 100 psi will be applied.
Surface contact will be applied between the flanges.
A node at the bottom of the pressure vessel will be fully constrained to make the model statically stable.
