This tutorial will use the model created in the Beam Tower Model tutorial. If this tutorial has not been completed, an archive of the model, Beam Tower.ach, is available in the Tutorials\Models subdirectory of the ALGOR installation directory.
Assign the cross-sectional properties shown.
All beams are Steel (AISI 4130).
Apply a standard gravity load.
Apply a 5,000 lbf force in the -Y direction to each of the top corners.
Apply a distributed load of 10 lbf/in in the -Y direction to the top horizontal beam.
Fully constrain the bottom two nodes.
