NONLINEAR 3-D BEAM ELEMENT
The nonlinear 3-D beam element supports three translational and three rotational degrees of freedom at each end of the member. It is used in 3-D beam or skeletal systems to provide extensional, flexural and torsional stiffness between two nodes.
