The electrostatic 3-D brick element supports isotropic material behavior for conductivity and dielectric values. The voltages from this element can be used to simulate the behavior of piezoelectric materials in a structural or Mechanical Event Simulation analysis.

For field-strength analyses, this element supports the calculation of electrostatic forces that result from surface charge differences. These electrostatic forces can be applied to any structural or Mechanical Event Simulation analysis.
