 Engineer Keith Orgeron of T&T Engineering, Inc. verified the behavior of a typical motion cycle of the existing Mountains and Clouds mobile, located in the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, DC. The vibration at the end of the cycle is caused by the impact in the failed support connection. This analysis helped determine the loading for a new, redesigned hanger connection. |
