ALGOR to Exhibit FEA Software at National Manufacturing Week 2007
 |
ALGOR, Inc. will demonstrate its latest FEA-based software at the National Manufacturing Week 2007 Exposition (NMW07),
being held September 25 – 27, 2007 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.
As illustrated here, ALGOR supports direct data exchange and full associativity with most CAD solid modelers,
allowing users to open their CAD models in ALGOR for analysis with ALGOR's wide range of simulation capabilities.

PITTSBURGH, PA – August 23, 2007 –
ALGOR, Inc., a leading provider of design, analysis and simulation software, announced
that it will demonstrate its current finite element analysis (FEA)-based products as well as preview upcoming software releases at
the National Manufacturing Week 2007 Exposition (NMW07), being held September 25 – 27, 2007 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois.
NMW07 will bring together engineering teams, executives and practitioners responsible for the entire manufacturing endeavor to see, compare and evaluate
the complete range of product and service resources available for CAD/CAM and enterprise technology software, plant engineering and maintenance,
contract manufacturing and outsourcing services and industrial automation.
As one of more than 1,300 exhibiting companies, ALGOR will show how its FEA software can help companies virtually test and predict real-world behavior
of new and existing product designs, speed up time to market and make better, safer products at a lower cost.
ALGOR FEA features an easy-to-use single user interface, FEMPRO®,
which provides direct CAD/CAE data exchange and full associativity with most CAD solid modelers.
This allows engineers to simply choose the analysis tools they need, giving them access to ALGOR's wide range of
simulation capabilities
including linear and nonlinear static stress, Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics,
steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, electrostatics, fatigue, piping and full multiphysics.
"At National Manufacturing Week 2007, attendees will see free demonstrations of how our wide range of analysis and simulation tools can have an immediate,
positive impact on their design and manufacturing process – resulting in savings of time and money," said ALGOR Product Manager, Bob Williams.
"Attendees will also see a sneak preview of our next software releases, ALGOR V21 and PipePak V10.1, which feature many improvements for
increased analysis capability, flexibility and ease of use."
Visit ALGOR at booth #3910 during NMW07 to see free software demonstrations.
