ALGOR announced an early June release of the first-ever, multilingual, full-featured finite element analysis (FEA) software that works associatively with most CAD solid modelers. This new internationalized version allows engineers to run the software in any one of six languages, including Chinese (simplified), English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

"Feature-rich and easy-to-use FEA software is now available in a single internationalized package," said ALGOR Product Manager Bob Williams. "Working in a native language reduces the learning curve and increases the efficiency and productivity of engineers, resulting in savings of time and money during the design process."

ALGOR worked with language localization experts at Echo International to ensure that its multilingual support accounted for such considerations as dialect, culture, currency, writing style, numbering, weights and measures, timing, geography, dating and more.
