ALGOR and Alibre, Inc. of Richardson, Texas have partnered to offer a parametric, feature-based modeling system for creating 3-D solid parts and assemblies within all ALGOR Professional core packages. The new core packages provide customers with a wide range of modeling tools without requiring the purchase of a separate CAD solid modeler.

These modeling capabilities are available for ALGOR’s wide range of simulation capabilities including static stress and Mechanical Event Simulation (MES) with linear and nonlinear material models, linear dynamics, steady-state and transient heat transfer, steady and unsteady fluid flow, electrostatics, full multiphysics and piping.
