Classroom Seminar Terms and Conditions

Hours

All seminars are conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ending at 3:00 p.m. on the last day.

Instructors

All training is provided directly by ALGOR and conducted by P.E.- and E.I.T.-certified engineers.

Professional Development Hours

ALGOR's training programs have qualified for Professional Development Hours (PDH) within those states that have Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) requirements as a condition of license renewal for Professional Engineers.

Team Registration

A 10 percent discount is available to your company if two individuals register at the same time. The discount grows to 15 percent if three or more individuals register at the same time.

Course Cancellation Policy

ALGOR reserves the right to cancel any course two weeks prior to its scheduled date. In the event of such cancellation by ALGOR, paid registrants will receive a full refund or credit to attend an equivalent course.

Student Cancellation Policy

All orders for scheduled classroom seminars must be prepaid. Orders for scheduled courses are firm and cannot be canceled. If a person cannot attend a course for which he/she has been scheduled, there are three options:

  1. if ALGOR is notified more than ten working days prior to the scheduled course, the person may be rescheduled for an equivalent course at a later date (no more than six months subsequent to the original registration date);
  2. if ALGOR is notified less than ten working days prior but not less than one working day prior to the scheduled course, 75 percent of the course fee can be credited to a course at a later date (no more than six months subsequent to the original registration date); or
  3. if ALGOR is notified on the course date or the person does not attend, rescheduling is not permitted and training costs incurred are non-refundable.

Purpose and Disclaimer

The purpose of ALGOR education is to acquaint the user with the operational and performance features of various ALGOR software products. Courses may also address general theoretical engineering matters. Classroom seminars are not designed to and do not transmit any engineering knowledge relating specifically to any company or individual engineering project. In providing education, ALGOR does not assume the role of engineering consultant to any student hereunder and hereby disclaims any and all responsibility for any errors or omissions arising out of any engineering in which its software products or information transferred during ALGOR education may be utilized.

Participation Agreement

It is hereby understood and acknowledged that the attendee may appear or participate in videos, Webcasts or other media produced by ALGOR, and that neither attendee nor sponsoring company shall be entitled to receive and hereby waives any legal, equitable or other right to royalties or fees arising from or in connection with any use by ALGOR of attendee’s name, likeness or work product in connection with the production, marketing, promotion or sale of any such videos, Webcasts or otherwise.
